FRACTURE CLINIC

The Fracture Clinic at the Whistler Health Care Centre is an outpatient clinic that treats and manages acute orthopaedic injuries. Your visit could include integrating with multiple members of our team of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Medical Trainees, Cast Technicians, Radiology Technicians, Nurses and Administrators.

Currently, the Whistler Health Care Center Fracture Clinic is the only local urgent orthopaedic clinic in the Sea to Sky Corridor.

Due to the complexity of care offered in the fracture clinic as part of an urgent care facility, we cannot accurately predict the length of your visit. Please bring a book or project to occupy your time during future appointments. Please allow 2-4 hours for your appointment.

The British Columbia medical services plan requires all patients to have a referral to see an Orthopaedic Specialist. Any physician may fax a referral on behalf of a patient to our Sea to Sky Orthopaedics fax number: (604) 905-4073. A Sea to Sky Orthopaedics team member will contact referred patients directly with an appointment time.

If you have not received an appointment in a timely manner, please call:

  • Your referring doctor’s office; or

  • The Sea to Sky Orthopaedics office at (604) 905-4075 and leave a voicemail with your name and best number to reach you at if there is no answer.
