Dr. Brooks-Hill performs elective surgeries at Squamish General Hospital.
When you are scheduled for surgery, please check in at admitting 2 hours prior to your scheduled surgery time.

When you have been scheduled for surgery Dr. Brooks-Hill requires you to refrain from taking any anti-inflammatories 10 days prior to your surgery. There are many products that have anti-inflammatory properties please call our office at (604) 905-4075 if you have any questions about the type of product included on the list.

» Call Dr. Brooks-Hill’s office immediately if you develop any of the following:

  • fever greater than 38 degrees Celsius
  • severe continuous, uncontrollable pain
  • continuous bleeding
  • continued, severe swelling in the limb that underwent surgery
  • inability to urinate

» If you do not speak with someone directly,
leave a message and go directly to one of the following:

  • Squamish General Hospital Emergency Department
  • Whistler Heath Care Centre (WHCC) - If between 10pm and 8am, call (604) 932-4911
    (answering service) before going to the WHCC
